Octave Landuyt (born 1920), the Goldpit, 1973, an important unique ceramic with 'gold' glazing, modelled by the artist and fired at the Perignem workshops, mounted in a brass clad niche, signed bottom right, dimensions 50 x 50 x 8 cm (the ceramic), dimensions with niche: 54,5 x 54,5 x 22,5 cm . Langui Catalogue raisonné number 935. Provenance: acquiered directly from the artist by an important private collector. Some fire cracks and chips (possibly due to firing) but overall in good condition. Back of the niche painted black. (Reserved)
