Victor Lorein (1894-1954), a nude, sitting on the edge of a table, ca. 1928, a preparatory drawing for a large oil painting destroyed by the artist after fierce criticism upon its exhibition, charcoal on paper, 48 x 30 cm (day measure), dimensions with frame 66 x 47 cm, signed bottom right. Works by Lorein are scarce on the art market.
