Albert Baertsoen (1866-1922), the Zuivelbrug in Gent, ca. 1910-1914, an important charcoal drawing, unsigned, charcoal on paper laid down on canvas , 70 x 74 cm (day measure). dimensions with oak frame 74 x 78 cm (unexamined out of frame). This drawing gave way to the making of an etching by the artist. Formerly in the collection of Georges Buysse (Sint-Martens-Latem). This drawing was exhibited in the important retrospective of Baertsoen in the Museum of Fine Arts in Gent in 1972-1973 (cat. no. 92)Period 1900-1920
