Alfons (Fons) De Vogelaere (1922-1998), Grote Vogel, (Large Bird), 1965, a very large abstract painting or environmental work, mixed media on 2 boards hinged, extended: 125 x 250 cm, otherwise dimensions variable according to the angle of the two panels, signed and titled at the back. This major work was shown at the Ghent Salon of 1965 (see label at the back). From the estate of the artist.
