Jan Anteunis Dream in white marble

Jan Anteunis (1896-1973), Dream, ca. 1926, a very rare white marble version of this expressionist sculpture on its original base in wood designed by the artist, signed at the side, height 23 cm, width 11,5, length 12 cm. A plaster cast of this sculpture is illustrated in the catalogue of the Retrospective exhibition on Jan Anteunis at the Museum Léon De Smet in 1993, illustrated in the catalogue on p.10. In original uncleaned and unrestored condition.
