Madonna 15th century oak

A delicate late gothic sculpture in oak, probably by a Hainaut (Henegouwen) maker (attributed by comparison with facial features, textile and hair rendering of other sculptures from that region), 15th century, with traces of old polychromy and parts missing, mounted on a later stone stand, the back unsculpted, suggesting it was meant to be placed against a wall, solitary or part of a group, height without the stand 33 cm.
