Alfred Delaunois Eglise du Béguinage in Leuven

Alfred Delaunois (1875-1941), 'L'Eglise du Béguinage Louvain - de la série Le Béguinage: Les Ames Solitaires' (The Begijnhofkerk in Leuven), an important watercolour on paper laid down on canvas, 58 x 71 cm (day measure), signed and monogrammed bottom right, in the original frame choosen by the artist, dimensions with frame 91 x 101 cm. A gift from the city of Leuven to Alfred Nerinck as a token for his work during the First World War as Interim Mayor of the city. A hand written notice by the artist at the back with title of the work.
