Emiel Veranneman very early couch table with surrealist tiles
Emiel Veranneman (Kortrijk 1924 - Kruishoutem 2003), a very early couch table in painted wood, with the table top inset with surrealist tiles attributed to Olivier Strebelle or possibly very early work by Jan Van de Kerckhove?, 50,5 x 52 x 109 cm, from a house in Waregem of which the interior was designed by Veranneman. The table and two chairs stood in the hall of the house and were according to the previous owners designed especially by Veranneman for this interior in the early 1950's.
