Anna de Weert the road at the beguinage
Anna de Weert (1867-1950), a photo-lithograph of the series "Begijntjes en Begijnhoven" illustrating daily life in a beguinage. Originally conceived as an illustration to the book by the artist's mother Clara Cogen-Ledeganck, printed in 1902. The prints were made after drawings by Anna de Weert. The photo-lithographs were also edited separately, 16,5 x 25,3 cm (image), dimensions with frame 25 x 34,5 cm, signed and dated 1902 in the stone bottom left. Somewhat browned near the edges. Unexamined out of frame.
