Paule Petitjean Lion Primavera

Paule Petitjean (1895-1989) pour Primavera Paris, a small sculpture of a Lion in glazed ceramic, marked Primavera at the underside of the base, height 16 cm, lenght 19 cm, width 6,5 cm. A missing chip to the green shrub, otherwise in good condition. An identical sculpture with different glaze and with variation to the modelling of the shrub (here also with chip) is reproduced in Mission Ceramique - collection Jean Jacques et Benedicte Wattel, Ed.
