Charles Doudelet (1861-1938), 'J'ai cherché trente ans mes soeurs', a hand coloured illustration for 'Douze Chansons' by Maurice Maeterlinck, signed in pencil bottom right, a zincograph, 18 x 24 cm (image), dimensions with frame 32 x 40,5 cm, a waterstain in the margin top right, browned, unexamined out of frame. this work was given (by Doudelet?) as the 'Jef Crick prize' in 1933.
