E. & R. Altenloh (Brussels), an extremely rare and important silver and wood art deco coffee and tea service, entitled 'Pleurai', for the Exposition des Arts Décoratifs in Paris in 1925, designed by Robert Altenloh and made by Altenloh Brussels, height coffee pot 24,5 cm, height tea pot 18 cm, height sugar bowl 14 cm, height samovar 37 cm, tray dimensions 44 x 64 cm. All pieces fully marked with makers mark of Altenloh, the original tray in silver plated metal by Altenloh and bearing the Altenloh marks, milk jug lacking, traces of use with minor dents, but in good original condition.
