Gustave Van den Meersche (1891-1970), a large and rare art deco sculpture, depiciting a lady holding a small dog in her arms, signed and indistinctly dated 1929 on the base, patinated plaster, height 117 cm, base 39 x 39 cm. Base restored, surface damages due to age. From this sculpture, to our knowledge, no other cast is recorded to this date.
