Henri de Fierlant La Serenata Romana, 1864
Henri de Fierlant (Antwerpen 1835 - Lyon 1872), La Serenata Romana, 1864, a very rare patinated romantic bronze, signed, localised 'Roma' and dated by the artist, with title on the front of the base and foundry mark at the other side of the base. Height 46 cm, lenght 34 cm, depth 21 cm, in good condition with oxidation of the patina due to age. Almost no sculptures of this artist, mainly working at Leuven or abroad, have surfaced these last years.
