Madeleine Van Thorenburg (Gent 1880-1961), a very rare original plaster bust, a portrait of a woman, 1920-1930's, on the original but loose wooden base, signed indistinctly at the back, 25 x 12 x 15 cm (without wooden base). A small damage to the nose. Provenance: Georges Chabot. Sculptures by Van Thorenburg are very difficult to find.
