Medici Frame
A large Medici style frame in carved wood, gilt, most probably Italian, possibly middle 19th century or earlier, total height 147 cm, total width 117 cm, day measure 106 x 71,5 cm. Numerous old restaurations (mostly unprofessionaly done). The painting a 19th century copy after Mariotto Albertinelli's Visitation of Saint Elizabeth to the Virgin Mary in the Uffizi Gallery in Firenze.
