Old wooden procession rattle
A rare and old (19th century or much earlier) wooden procession rattle, in working condition, possibly Southern Europe or Flanders, dimensions 35 x 35 x 16 cm (with iron handle). Multiple traces of use, pieces missing, one wooden dent replaced by a hand wrought nail, etc... as one might expect from such an object, but still in working condition. A sculptural piece of folk art!
