Prayer book with silver binding ca. 1800
A Prayer book with silver binding, the book titled 'Het Hemelsch Palmhof', edited in Ghent by Bernard Poelman ca. 1789, the silver clasps marked with marks for the assay office of Bruges between 1789-1809 (54), dimensions approx. 3 x 14,5 x 9,5 cm, the binding with parts missing on the covers and bumped in places, the book well used, with damaged end papers, the pages with gilt edges, the side of the book with impressed decoration, with a previous owners' inscription on the clasps.
