A good and amusing folk art travel chess set, probably 'home made', different types of wood, bone, and red painted bone, probably made in the first quarter of the 20th century, 3 x 15 x 7 cm (closed), 1,5 x 14,6 x 15 cm board open. The pieces naively carved, some slightly wobbly into the holes of the board. One red horse restored. Traces of use and age, overall an amusing set.
