Valère Bernard (1860 - 1936), Le Cauchemar (The Nightmare), an extremely rare symbolist etching. Dimensions of the sheet 22 x 34 cm, dimensions of the print 20,5 x 26,5 cm. Signature of the artist in pencil bottom right. Bottom left in pencil title, along with 'Tiré à 3 exampl. (cuivre détruit)'. According to the inscrpition only three prints were made, after which the plate was destroyed. Unframed.
