A flat so-called pancake plate with a rare pattern of a butterfly surrounded by flying insects (bees?), early 18th century, diameter 22 cm, back decorated with 4 blue circles, in good condition with some minor glaze frittings as usual, with a larger rim chip of 1,2 cm. Provenance: an important Belgian collection.
