Charles Degroux (1825-1870), Portrait of an elderly lady sitting in a chair, pencil and ink on paper, unsigned but with a dedication by his widow to the painter Alfred Verwee. Provenance: collection Alfred Verwee, Schaarbeek. Dimensions drawing 21,5 x 15,5 cm (day measure), dimensions with frame 47 x 39,5 cm. The drawing has been professionnaly restored and reframed in the original but slightly damaged Mommen frame. A historical document.
