Delft Rosarum syrup jug
An interesting late 18th century Delft syrup jug, without handle, to contain and pour liquid drugs, in white tin glazed earthenware with a blue cartouche decorated with foliage and peacocks, stating the name of the main ingredient in Latin 'Rosarum' and showing the letter 'M' above. Some minute glaze chips, but in very good condition, height 22 cm, width 19 cm, diameter upper rim: 10,5 cm, diameter base: 12,5 cm.
