George Morren art nouveau inkwell 1895

George Morren (1868-1941), a very rare art nouveau figurative inkwell, signed and dated 1895, with the foundry mark of Petermann, this cast the only one known of in pewter up to this day, 10,3 x 18,6 x 12,6 cm. Recorded in the catalogue raisonné on the artist and probably the inkwell sold at la Libre Esthetique in 1895.
