Gerard Baksteen (1887-1976), the infant Christ and the Holy Spirit, woodcut on fine paper, a so-called 'Handdruk' by the artist himself, signed in pencil bottom left, and with a dedication in pencil to writer and art critic Jef Crick bottom right. Dimensions 28,5 x 28,5 cm (day measure), with original frame: 51 x 46,5 cm. Profesionnaly reframed in the original frame, on small horizontal tear top right restored.
