Jan-Frans Cantré Le Vieux Paysan flamand woodcut

Jan-Frans Cantré (1886-1931), Vieux Paysan flamand (old Flemish peasant), an original expressionist print from the end of the 1920's, probably a linocut or a woodcut, 27 x 25 cm (block), 44 x 30,5 cm (day measure), 46 x 32,5 cm with damaged but probably original frame. Monogrammed in the block, bottom right, signed in pencil and with mention 'épreuve d'artiste' bottom centre, titled in pencil bottom left. In original unwashed condition: spots, probably in need of a clean, and in need of a new frame.
