Jos Van Driessche
Jos Van Driessche monumental table and chairsJos Van Driessche (born 1930), a monumental table and 12 matching chairs, one of the first of the few tables which the architect designed and executed, this ensemble executed in 2001. Materials used are Mulman teak and stainless steel for the construction, with lapis lazuli insets as decoration, each element handcrafted. The seatings are covered with beige Alcantara. The table can be taken apart in several elements, with the original wooden crates for transport available. Together with the table and chairs we sell the original polished stainless steel place mats and a dossier, signed by the architect with details of the construction and material used and a photograph of the table in the original setting. Also included are copies of the original drawings. The table has 8 stainless steel legs, total lenght 300 cm, width 120 cm, height 74 cm; the chairs height 94 cm, width 41 cm, depth 46 cm. Some traces of use but overall in very good condition. Most of the chairs signed with the artists monogram into the stainless steel.
