Eugène Laermans Pan a rare etching ca. 1889
Eugène Laermans (1864 - 1940), Pan, ca. 1889 (?), a rare etching after the painting from 1889. This small version not in Paul Colin, 1929 (in P. Colin etchings cat. rais. nr. 9: dim. 17,2 x 13,6 cm) and apparently unrecorded? (a proof state?). Dimensions of the passe-partout 35 x 25 cm, dimensions of the plate 12 x 8 cm, dimensions of the image 10 x 6,9 cm. Bottom left in the margin studio sale stamp of Galerie Fievez, Brussels (1942). Some foxing, otherwise in good condition. Etching is attached to a firmer paper on the back and protected by a passe-partout.
