Eugène Smits (1826-1912), an autumn stroll in the evening, a couple walking their dogs in an autumnal landscape, oil on canvas, signed bottom right, 68,5 x 93 cm, dimensions with frame 98 x 123 cm. In a splendid original frame, that does need a little tlc, an old restauration visible at the back of the canvas. A large work for this artist, member of the Société Libre des Beaux-Arts.
