Gustave Vanaise (1854-1902), a three-masted ship, ca. 1883, oil on mahogany panel, 28 x 17,3 cm, dimensions with original frame 30,5 x 20,5 cm. Marked with the workshop studio sale stamp at the back. A good study probably painted during his stay in Venice, together with a.o. Rodolphe Wytsman, both were members of Les XX. (reserved)
