Herman Broeckaert (1879-1930), a very rare view of a fair at Sleidinge (Eastern Flandres), before or ca.1922, oil on canvas, signed bottom right. Dimensions: 80 x 101 cm, 101 x 121 cm (with original oak frame). One of the books of poetry written by the artist was dedicated to the mayor of Sleidinge, Maurice Ghysbrechts, in 1923.
