Jan-Frans Cantré (1886 - 1931) Messidor, an original and rare expressionist woodcut from 1923. Dimension of the sheet 51,5 x 42 cm (full margins), dimension of the print 26,4 x 19,2 cm. Signed by the artist on the bottom in pencil, justification, title and date also present '28/32 Messidor 1923 J. Fr. Cantré'. Watermark present on the bottom left. Near the upper left corner is a rupture in the sheet of 1cm, edges and corners of the sheets have subtle folds. Unframed.
