Jules De Bleye (1846-1901), Une Causerie, 1885, an important oil on canvas (relined), 102 x 149 cm, signed and dated to the right, dimensions with the original frame: 136 x 177 cm. Some restorations and canvas relined. A very important painting in the oeuvre of the artist, closely involved in the socialist movement in Gent.
