Armand Rassenfosse Sahara Sultane book
Armand Rassenfosse (1862-1934) and Claude Farrere, an illustrated book Sahara Sultane, edited Dorbon-Aine (Paris) and printed by Bernard (Liege) in 1923, this copy one of the 400 (number 145) with a complete suite of the illustrations in colour and on yellow paper, condition good, spine damaged at the top, cover some rubbing, corners slightly used, 27 x 20,5 cm, 70 pages + 18 pages for the suite. A curious melange of orientalist and abstract/modernist decorative elements.
