Corine Toussein (born in Bruges, 1942), an important abstract 'Wool Relief', 1963, an early work in the original frame, dimensions with frame: 89 x 81 cm, signed and dated at the back. One of the early modern woman textile artists. Her work was shown at exhibitions in San Francisco in 1970 and in Köln, Münster, Hamburg, Lodz, Warschau and Paris. A retrospective exhibition of her work was held in Turnhout in 1978.
