Eugène Dopchie (1873-1948), Vieux bateau à Akkerghem, 1917 (Old boat at Ekkergem, Ghent), pencil on paper, signed with the monogram and dated bottom left, 21,5 x 26 cm, dimensions with the original but slightly damaged frame 25 x 29,5 cm. Some foxing, unexamined out of frame. A rare drawing by this often overlooked but very interesting impressionist/symbolist artist from the circle of Claus and Baertsoen.
