Geo Vindevogel (1923-1977), a probably unique wood carving of the Madonna and child (or mother and child), 1943, carved in boxwood and with the original 'Noir the Mazy' base, signed and dated at the back of the base, dimensions 37,5 x 10 x 9 cm (with base), height of the wood sculpture 34,5 cm. In good condition, some cracks due to age (see photographs) and stone base with stains. Provenance: the artist Francine Somers (1923-2022).
