Jozef Cantré Murder a rare expressionist woodcut 1920

Jozef Cantré (1890-1957), 'Moorderij' (Murder), 1920, an original woodcut, signed by the artist in ink bottom right, with the title in ink bottom left, 24,5 x 19,5 cm (day measure), dimensions with modern frame 27 x 22,5 cm. Unexamined out of frame. This very rare woodcut also features in the 'Geel Zaad -Grain Jaune' portofolio edited by the artist in 1921. For an identical woodcut see: Museum voor Schone kunsten Gent
