Marcel Ysewijn (1921-?), Abstract composition (vertical landscape), 1960 , mixed media on paper, signed and dated in pencil bottom right, 35 x 25,5 cm (day measure), dimensions with the original frame 63 x 52,7 cm. The artist's early work was clearly modern, and the artist was part of the Gent avant-garde in the 1950-1970's. A painting belongs to the collections of the SMAK Museum: see Painting Ysewijn
