Philippe Wolfers for Louis Wolfers, père et fils (I), a rare pair of silver and silver gilt Japonist snakeskin salt cellars, ca. 1885-1890, height 4 cm, diameter 4,8 cm, weight 61 grams. Both pieces marked on the bottom with ‘Wolf’s head’ and the letter ‘W’ (maker’s mark of Louis Wolfers, père et fils I) and alloy mark ‘800/Mil’. In used but good original condition.
