Clémence or Clementine Jonnaert (1856 - 1941), Japonaiserie, oil on canvas, signed bottom right, 36,5 x 28,5 cm (canvas), 46 x 39 cm with frame. A small restauration centre canvas. A curious work by this female painter who was working and living in Sint-Martens-Latem. Jonnaert was one of the most expressive flower painters of her generation. Provenance: family of the artist.
