Terms and Conditions Galerie St-John Bvba
 
All the items on our site are sold subject to the VAT margin scheme. (Deliveries subject to the special margin tax regime. VAT non-deductible. Art. 58/4 of the VAT code - Code 53 of 23.12.94 - implementation of Art.58, paragraph 4 of the code. For more information regarding export please contact us.) All items are sold as is, at the time of the purchase, known by the buyer. Please note that all items can and must be examined by the buyer or his representative at our premises before a purchase is made. Any complaints have to reach us in writing before the 14th day after the invoice date.
All items remain property of Galerie St-John until we have received full payment. All invoices have to be paid within 8 days of the purchase date, after which an additional interest will be charged upon the initial purchase price, equal to that of ordinary commercial credits  known as overdrafts in Belgium.
After receiving the payment, the goods are stored at our premises but we are not to be held accountable in the event damage would occur between the time of purchase and collecting of the items. In some cases, an additional fee will be asked for storage and/or for transport to a storage facility. In those cases Galerie St-John will notify the buyer.
Galerie St-John will always charge for storage if the items are not retrieved by the buyer after 30 days of purchase. The charge will be € 10,- per additional day, payable upon retrieving the items.
 
All descriptions, photographs and additional information are given as a help to the buyer, but Galerie St-John is not guaranteeing this information, unless otherwise stated through a certificate of authenticity. It is up to the buyer to check the condition, authenticity, provenance and nature of the items. If Galerie St-John is asked to supply a certificate of authentication or provenance, please note that in some cases an additional fee can be asked.
Galerie St-John does not employ professional restorers, so any information about the condition of an item has to be seen as not binding and purely informational. 
 
Any dispute or claim shall be governed by Belgian law and the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Gent, Belgium.
