Maurice Maeterlinck (1862-1949) and Charles Doudelet (1861-1938),  'Douze Chansons de Maurice Maeterlinck illustrées par Charles Doudelet', edited by P.-V. Stock, Paris and printed in Ghent by Louis Van Melle, one of the 600 copies on 'papier Ingres'. Dimensions with cover 24,5 x 32 cm. This book is considered as one of the most important symbolist book realisations and one of the most beautiful of the Maeterlinck illustrated books. As usual, the book has traces of foxing and 'décharges' of the zincography plates throughout. For a complete condition rapport please contact us.
