Jan Willem Grinwis Plaat Stultjes Christ on Golgotha
Jan Willem Grinwis Plaat Stultjes (1898-1934), an extremely rare oil painting by this South-African artist who studied at the Ghent Academy, Christ on Golgotha mountain, 1921, signed bottom right, inscribed with the date at the back of the strecher in pencil, oil on canvas, 39,5 x 49,5 cm, dimensions with frame 46 x 55,5 cm. Hitherto the only religious work known to us that Stultjes painted.
