A German 16th century so-called alms dish with the representation of the annunciation, probably Nurnberg (Nuerenberg), with central the decoration encircled by gothic script, small impressed decorations into the rim, diameter 41 cm. With the usual rubbings and the rim in places open, showing the metal thread within, bent and with traces of use common to this type of objects. A modern metal ring soldered to the back to hang the dish. For a similar dish see the Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam inv. nr. N.M. 2449
