A splendid Dagoty, Paris porcelain cup and saucer, with gilt flowers and leaves (bindweed?) motif on black ground, the cup with a painted panel, showing a traditional Armenian Wedding ritual, with a soon to be wed pink veiled girl accompanied by two older women, with a symbol of chastity in the background, height cup 9 cm, width cup 10,5 cm, diameter saucer 17 cm. Overall in good condition, no damage, some minor rubbing to the gilding and some minor wear due to age. Mark in red on the saucer base, 1799-1805.
