Edgard Gevaert (1891-1965), drawing on paper representing a shepherd with 2 donkeys, in the neoclassical style typical of the 1930s, signed and dated 1934 bottom right, 44 x 36 (day measure), dimensions with frame 55 x 48 cm, behind glass in a later frame, some browning of the paper and some foxing visible, above the head a horizontal paler area (approx. 1 cm high), illustrated in the 1975 book on the artist on page 94. Unexamined out of frame.
