Jules De Bruycker (1870-1945), Grande Ville, self portrait of the artist as a Marabout and the title probably referring to the illustrator Grandville, 1929 (le Roy 161). This etching only exists in proof states, almost always dedicated and dated by the artist. This example dated 29 June 1934 and dedicated to A. Taevernier, 34,7 x 17,5 cm (plate), signed, dated and dedicated in pencil bottom right, with title and mention 'Etat' bottom left. Reframed in the original frame.
