A rare and probably early 19th century Belgian set of 2 small solid silver jugs (Burettes), one for water and one for wine (with the beautifully engraved stilised letters A and V accordingly) on a solid silver oval dish, to be used on the altar, the dish distinctly marked with the makers mark for Liaigre, Charles or Jacques (father and son silversmiths in Tournai, Belgium), Minerva and Janus heads, the jugs with Minerva and Janus heads, Tournai, 1831-1868, height jugs; 8,8 cm, width from spout to handle: 8 cm, dish: 23,6 x 16,5 cm.
