Wolfers Frères SA a Wotan candelabrum with 5 branches
Wolfers Frères S.A. (Bruxelles), A 'Wotan' candelabrum, a rare version with 5 branches, designed and executed second half of the 1930's, height 14 cm, diameter base 17,9 cm, largest diameter 26 cm. The inside of the base with a tropical wood inset. Marked on the side of the base rim with makers mark, alloy mark for 950/1000 (!), a production number also visible. In good condition. This set was exhibited at the exhibition 'Art Deco Silver Antwerpen-Brussel-Gent' in 1996 at the Sterckshof Museum (now Diva) and illustrated in the catalogue cat. nr. B110, p 229.
